As she tries to discover who killed her mother years before, Jessie discovers she has the power to talk to her younger self, in the past. Cryptic is a brilliantly scripted sci-fi thriller, which is flawlessy realised through Kuchuck & Weiner's tight direction and strong performances from the memorable cast. While constantly twisting and turning, with a plot full of puzzles and surprises, the film never loses sight of the characters at its heart.
